Dermal Fillers

As we age, we lose volume from our face, often resulting in a tired appearance. Dermal fillers can be used to restore this volume and treat “static” lines and wrinkles (those which are present even when not making any facial expression.

Dermal fillers are a synthetic form of hyaluronic acid- a substance which is produced naturally by our body and which is responsible for the hydrated and plump appearance of youthful skin. Hyaluronic acid fillers are resorbed by your own body over a period of time and the results last between 12-18 months depending on a variety of lifestyle factors.

Dr Fiona & her team are strong advocates of very natural results- focusing on precise injection of dermal fillers in strategic areas in order to enhance patients’ own features without looking overdone or false.

Dermal fillers can be used to treat undereye hollows, restore volume to cheeks and lips, improve the appearance of marionette lines as well as defining the jawline and chin.

A full medical consultation is required prior to any dermal filler treatment to assess your suitability for this procedure.
