Thin Lips

Many would say that the lips are one of the main focal points of the face and one of the biggest tell-tale signs of one’s age.
The development of thinning lips is multi-faceted and whilst it usually comes down to genetics, extrinsic factors such as pollution and smoking can also contribute to loss of volume.
As with any ageing process, we see a reduction in collagen and elastin content resulting in volume loss of the mouth area.
Other common lip concerns include asymmetry, poor definition or the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles around the lip area, all of which can be treated using a combination of approaches.
Lip enhancement is often a treatment that patients are anxious about undergoing as there is a concern about developing a protruded or unnatural lip contour. Dr Fiona firmly believes less is more in this area and works to create a natural shape suited to your face.
She will assess your facial structure during your initial consultation and discuss the best treatment options depending on your area of concern.
