Bruxism, or teeth grinding, is a condition that more than 1 in 10 people suffer from.
Many grind or clench their teeth in their sleep, when they’re nervous, concentrating or stressed throughout the day.
Bruxism can cause serious damage to your teeth, cause severe jaw pain, disrupted sleep, facial pain, earache and migraines.
Whilst grinding your teeth can be caused by sleep disorders, certain medicines and unhealthy lifestyle habits (i.e., excess alcohol, drug or caffeine consumption) the most common cause is stress and anxiety. Many people are not even aware that they are doing it.
Dr Fiona will assess your condition during your initial consultation and discuss the best treatment options depending on your concern.Book a Consultation
